It feels like just a few days ago I was here saying I would try to post more often and in reality it has been almost 2 weeks already. Time seems to fly by these days and I can hardly believe that Baby Grant is 10 weeks old already. I had honestly "forgotten" how amazing these first few weeks are with a new baby. Grant has already discovered that he is not a huge fan of tummy time and is figuring out how to roll from his tummy to his back. Luckily for me all my children have been fairly easy babies and he is content to just be while I spend time with his big sisters. Brooke is learning so much so fast and as much as I never thought I would say it, I am so ready for preschool in the fall. I'm sure there will be tears (mainly mine), but she needs more than I can give her at this point. And Emma is becoming quite a bit more like her sister everyday, stubborn and independent.
I put together this comparison the other day and still am amazed at how much alike the three of them are. What I need to do now is get a picture of Renee to add to that, because she too looks just like them all.
My house is certainly not clean, there are piles of laundry and dishes to be done, but that will wait. Because right now there are children to be read to, sung to, played with, and rocked to sleep.

Giving it another go...
I started this blog over a year ago thinking I'd try to at least make a post once a week just to keep everyone updated on the kids. But, that never happened and now there is another kid in the house and they are growing far to quickly. So here we go again. I make no promises that there will be a lot of deep thought or even more than a few sentences, but I will attempt to post at least once a week.
I can hardly believe that those beautiful children are mine and love spending everyday with them. Brooke is 4 going on 16 and gives me a run for my money, Emma is just trying to figure out her place since she's not the baby anymore. And Grant is just trying to survive, what's a boy to do in my house full of girls?!?
